Plotting graphs with Scientific WorkPlace

Plotting graphs is easy in Scientific WorkPlace using the MuPAD engine:

  1. To change to Maths mode, click on the black T

      (or type Control-M)
     
  2. Type the equation; for example



    For fractions, click on the Fraction symbol

      (or type Control-F)

    type the numerator, and then click underneath to type the denominator (or touch the Tab key)
     
  3. Click on Compute - Plot 2D

     
     
  4. The graph appears in your document
